Planet Scumm Issue #6: “O Scumm All Ye Faithful”
Issue #5’s cover relates to the featured story “Ain’t We Got Fun”, an exploration of impulse and vices in a Prohibition-gone-Lovecraft setting. The characters were inspired by seven deadly sins.
Issue #5 is also when we began a complete revamp of our cover design convention, opting to emulate the feel of 1950s pulp.

Issue #5 started out as a hand-bound zine back during the beginning of Planet Scumm. It was also the first book we printed as a paperback when we decided to professionalize the operation. [You can read about PS’s scrappy beginnings here.]
